Why do cultures tell stories?

  • Cultures tell stories for many different purposes including entertainment, education and also to show forms of moral values. Getting told stories teaches us about man different things like our culture, how things worked before we were here and many different other things, that is why it is important.


What is the purpose?

  • The purpose of storytelling is to have all knowledge go from generation to generation so that culture stays alive and people are aware of many different stories.
