GOOD FATS VS BAD FATS

  • Small amounts of trans fats naturally occur in dairy products, beef, veal, lamb and mutton. 
  • Monounsaturated fats can lower bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol. 
  • High levels of bad cholesterol can lead to heart disease so monounsaturated fats can protect the heart.
  • Saturated fat can raise bad cholesterol levels.
  • Trans fats are so bad that some cities have banned them from restaurant foods.
