Child Labour SEEL PARAGRAPH

Question: Why are children used in Labour and how does this take away their Human Right and freedom?

Children are used in slavery because their families are poor and compared to adults they can work for longer because they are younger, they are more easily controlled and more unlikely to complain about working conditions. This takes away their right to freedom because they are kept in jail-like form and don't get to choose what they do with their lives. Children shouldn't have to deal with their families debts.

Harriet Tubman

What I have learnt: That Harriet Tubman used a unique way to free her slaves that worked and that the system wasn't fair the masters were just greedy.

What I have created: I have made a slideshow of information about Harriet Tubman & the underground railroad.

PARAGRAPH

Harriet Tubman was born into slavery and after her escape she became a conductor, her role in the Underground Railroad was to help guide other slaves to freedom. She saved 300 slaves during her time in the Underground Railroad, she saved these people because she was once in their position and knew how they felt. She became a conductor to help people.
